Paramount gets a True Story
Paramount Pictures has set Kevin McDonald to direct True Story, the real-life story of Michael Finkel's firing from the New York Times for falsifying some of his reports about young boys who were working in West Afridcan cocoa plantations. Then, he formed a bond with a murder suspect who had stolen his identity and went into hiding under the name Michael Finkel after being accused of murdering a family member. No actors or writers are yet attached to the project; however, Brad Pitt's Plan B will produce.
