Jackson Added to Shutter
Joshua Jackson (Cruel Intentions; Dawson's Creek) will join Rachael Taylor in the cast of Regency's psychological thriller Shutter. Also added to the cast are David Denman (The Office), James Kyson Lee (Heroes) and John Hensley (Nip/Tuck). Masayuki Ochiai is directing the film, about an American couple (Jackson and Taylor) honeymooning in Tokyo who begins seeing ghostly images in the photos that they shoot and all around them.

Taylor to Star in Shutter
Rachael Taylor (Transformers) will star in Shutter for Regency, a remake of the 2004 psychological thriller from Thailand. Masayuki Ochiai is directing the film and Luke Dawson wrote the screenplay, about a young American couple who are honeymooning in Tokyo and begin to see strange, ghostly images in the photos that they take, as well as all around them. Taylor will play the bride. Fox is distributing the movie.

Regency to remake Shutter
Regency Productions has secured the rights to remake the Thai thriller Shutter into an English-language horror film. The original was one of the highest-grossing films ins Thai history and centers on a young photographer and his girlfriend who find eerie shadows in his photographs that may be connected to their involvement in a hit and run accident. Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom directed the original film.
