Screen Gems gets Tekken
Screen Gems is set to distribute Tekken, a movie adaptation of the popular videogame, in North America. Long-time Tekken player Charles Stone (Mr. 3000) will both direct and rewrite a script that was originated by Michael Colleary and Mike Werb. The story centers on two childhood friends who enter a martial arts tournament. As they move through the ranks, they get closer to unveiling a secret that lies deep within the shadowy Tekken Corp.
