Sobieski and Faison are Optimistic
Leelee Sobieski and Donald Faison will star in The Optimist for director Marius Balchunas. The movie centers on a family of Russian immigrants whose home is taken over by two car thieves (Faison, Shane West). Sobieski will play a daughter of the family who is looking to get out of the home. Rade Serbedzija plays Sobieski's father, a Russian-Jewish clarinetist.
