Universal goes with Burroughs
Universal has optioned the rights to Augusten Burroughs' next memoir. The book is yet to be titled, but will be the second of his memoirs to be turned into a film. Running With Scissors recently wrapped. Burroughs has said that the next book will center on his relationship with his father, both as a child and an adult. The author does not expect the memoir to be published until 2007 or 2008.
