Stone goes to Forest
Sharon Stone has agreed to star in Ryan Eslinger's $2 million indie project When a Man Falls in a Forest. He'll also write a screenplay that the actress will direct at a later time. In the as-yet unfinanced film, Stone will portray a woman who is so unhappily married that she shoplifts in order to ease her pain. She'll be one of four major characters in the film, all from a small town in the Midwest. Eslinger's first film, Madness and Genius, received critical acclaim and landed the then-22-year-old a contract with the William Morris Agency.
