Lynch is making a movie
David Lynch is hard at work on a new film for Studio Canal. Shrouded in mystery, INLAND EMPIRE (the director won't explain why the title is all capitalized) has been shooting under the radar for two years now. The movie will star Laura Dern, Justin Theroux, Harry Dean Stanton, Jeremy Irons, and numerous other cast who Lynch refuses to announce. He does tell Variety that it's a mystery about a woman in trouble. Studio Canal is apparently hoping for a premiere at Cannes in 2006.
