Robinson makes leap to film

Chris Robinson, a director best known for his breakthrough work in the hip hop video biz, has signed to direct an untitled musical comedy set in an Atlanta hip hop roller-skating rink. The project was formerly known as Jellybeans, and is being produced by James Lassiter, Will Smith, Dallas Austin, Jody Gerson and T-Boz.
