Revolution Studios sits in Bleachers
Revolution Studios has hired J. Mills Goodloe to adapt the John Grisham football novel Bleachers. Don Burgess will make his feature film directing debut. The 2004 novel was a number one bestseller on the New York Times list and is one of the few books from the author that is not a legal thriller. The movie centers on a former high school football star who returns to his small-town Southern home to be a part of a vigil for his dying coach, a man both loved and feared by his athletes.
