Lawrence Bender goes to 5th Avenue
Lawrence Bender Prods. has optioned the rights to Carrie Gerlach Cecil's romantic comedy 5th Avenue Bum. The movie centers on a woman who runs a baby food company, but hates babies. She goes through both men and employees at a heroic pace. Soon, her father threatens to hand over the leadership of the company to another executive unless she finds balance in her life, and she bribes a bum to act as her boyfriend temporarily.
