Michael Bay to continue ruining horror
Michael Bay's Universal-based Platinum Dunes production company is looking to remake Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 classic The Birds. The new version would be based on the short story by Daphne Du Maurier, which inspired Hitchcock's movie and to which Universal owns the rights. The original starred Tippi Hedren and featured a group of vicious birds that get worse as they terrorize a small town.
