Touchstone goes Off the Chain
Touchstone Pictures has picked up the rights to the spec script Off the Chain from screenwriters Dax Shelby and Robert Stevens. The movie will follow two women from totally separate lifestyles - one a homemaker who has been framed for a crime she did not commit, the other a career criminal from the streets. Through a glitch in the system, the two are accidentally switched when it comes to prison assignment time, and the homemaker is sent to a maximum-security penitentary while the hardened criminal gets to spend time in the country-club style joint.
