More casting news for Little Children
Patrick Wilson (The Phantom of the Opera) has signed to star as a sexy young father who was a former college quarterback in the adaptation of the Tom Perrotta novel Little Children. He'll play alongside Kate Winslet and Jennifer Connelly in the tale of what adults do when they're not devoting themselves to their kids. Todd Field directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Perrotta.

Connelly joins Winslet in Little Children
Jennifer Connelly is in talks to join Kate Winslet in the New Line Cinema film Little Children. An adaptation of the 2004 Tom Perrotta novel, the movie centers on a group of strange suburbanites and their relationships with their children. The movie is being directed by Todd Field from a screenplay he co-wrote with Perrotta.

Winslet to headline Little Children
Kate Winslet is in talks to headline Little Children, an adaptation of the Tom Perrotta book, for New Line Cinema. Perrotta co-wrote the screenplay with Albert Berger, and Todd Field will direct. The movie will be set in a small suburban town where the parents raise perfect kids during the day, but surf porn on the Internet and have affairs behind closed doors during the cover of night.
