Writer gets DreamWorks deal
Brandon Noonan has been hired by DreamWorks to write an adaptation of the William Melvin Kelley satirical novel Dem. Published in 1967, the book focuses on a self-centered white marketing professional who has to re-examine his life when his wife gives birth to a black baby. Neil LaBute will direct.
