Playwright to adapt T.C. Boyle story
Donald Margulies, who won a Pulitzer prize for his play Dinner With Friends, will adapt the T.C. Boyle short story Achates McNeil for the big screen, making it the playwright's directorial debut as well. The story comes from the 2001 Boyle collection After the Plague and centers on an undergraduate student who has to deal with the fact that his author father is a very famous alum of the school he is visiting.
