Theta gets a Blind Guy
Upstart indie distributor Theta Films will co-finance its first production with Catfish Productions. Blind Guy is a comedy about a confident but visually impaired young man who is looking both for love and a chance to see. He has a series of terrible dates, but soon falls for the receptionist at his doctor's office, a beautiful emigrant from India. Their cultural differences become a problem, however.
Chris Pine will have the starring role, and co-stars include Jane Seymour, Eddie Kaye Thomas and newcomer Anjali Jay. James Keach is directing from an original screenplay by Christopher Theo.
