Paramount hires writers for Scares
Bennett Yellin and James Johnston have been hired to write the horror screenplay Let's Scare Jessica by Paramount Pictures. The title is lifted from a 1971 scary movie known as Let's Scare Jessica to Death, where a woman who has just been released from a mental hospital tries to begin anew by moving into an old New England farmhouse. In the new film, the movie will focus on a fearless young college man who pledges a fraternity and must prove his allegiance to his new brothers by scaring his girlfriend into believing the college is haunted. Naturally, creepy and strange things actually start to happen.
