Wilson has a Secret
Owen Wilson will star in Paramount's long-in-development The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a movie based on the short story from humorist James Thurber. The story was already turned into a movie in 1947, and that one had Danny Kaye in the title role. The new film will still center on a character who is subject to wild daydreams, but it has definitely been updated for 2005. In this version, Walter will fall for the daughter of a bank robber. Mark Waters (Mean Girls) is directing from a screenplay by Richard LaGravenese.
