Warner Independent to remake Les Voleurs

Warner Independent Pictures has set a deal with Canal Plus to remake the 1996 Andre Techine thriller Les Voleurs, which starred Catherine Deneuve. The Americanized version of the French film will be written by Larry Gross, and will be set in New Orleans and centers on a black sheep in a family of thieves, who eventually becomes a cop.
