Green goes to the Goat
David Gordon Green (Undertow) has been set to adapt an adaptation of Brad Land's novel Goat: A Memoir. The book centers on the 19-year-old Land, a young adult who has been left injured and psychologically suffering from a terrifying assault. The police are unsympathetic, his parents can hardly discuss the incident, and his brother is riddled with guilt but can't really relate. Brad's brother enrolls at a university and pledges a fraternity, and Brad, desperate to belong, follows suit. He goes through hazing and an assortment of other ordeals in the process.
