John Lee Hancock (The Rookie) is set to adapt and direct the revenge drama Dead I Well May Be for Universal Pictures. Based on a book by Adrian McKinty, the story centers on a street-savvy illegal Irish immigrant who gets a job as a mob enforcer in New York in the early 90s.
