Sony to join forces with Marvel on Killraven
Sony Pictures is in negotiations with Marvel Entertainment to develop the comic book character Killraven into a tentpole project. The sci-fi story is set in the future, and mankind has been enslaved by an alien race. Our hero is a man who was born in captivity, but rises through a series of gladiator-style battles to become the leader of a group of rebels called the Freemen. These warriors join forces to drive the invaders off the planet. Sony is already in discussions with Robert Schenkkan to adapt the screenplay.
