Writers hired for Johnny Blaze
DreamWorks and Imagine Entertainment have hired Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg to write Johnny Blaze, a comedy vehicle with Eddie Murphy attached to star as the title character. The story centers on an old-school rapper who retires and becomes a private investigator who solves crimes that take place in the world of hip-hop.
