Stars line up for Coin Locker Babies
Liv Tyler, Asia Argento, Val Kilmer and Japanese star Tadonobu Asano are set to star in the movie adaptation of Ryu Murakami's book Coin Locker Babies. The movie will be directed by Michele Civetta, who has previously worked in video and commercials. She co-wrote the screenplay with Sean Lennon (son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono), Jordan Galland and Peter Kline. The story is a surreal coming-of-age story about two boys who are abandoned at birth in adjacent train station lockers. They grow up in orphanages and foster parents on a sort of deserted island, but soon determine to have their revenge on the women that abandoned them in the first place.
