Horton Hears More Actors

Carol Burnett, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Isla Fisher, Dan Fogler, Amy Poehler, Dane Cook, Jaime Pressly and Jonah Hill have all joined the talented voice cast of Horton Hears a Who. The CG-animated film stars Jim Carrey and Steve Carell in an adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss children's story.

Carrey and Carell Hear a Who

Funneymen Jim Carrey and Steve Carell will voice characters in Fox's CGI animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. Carrey will voice the title character and Carell will take the mayor of Who-ville. The role will be Carrey's second in a Dr. Seuss film, as he also played the lead role in the live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Directors hear a Who

Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino have been hired by 20th Century Fox to direct Horton Hears a Who, a CGI-animated film based on the beloved Dr. Seuss book. The film is currently scheduled to be released in Spring of 2008. Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul wrote the screenplay, which centers on an elephant named Horton who picks a dandelion that he guards carefully as he discovers an entire world inhabiting it.

Horton Hears a Who to become full-length feature

Continuing the proud tradition of ruining Dr. Seuss's best stories, 20th Century Fox animation will produce a feature-length CGI version of the charming kids' story Horton Hears a Who. Blue Sky Studios, which handled animation duties on Robots and Ice Age, will be behind the production of this one as well. The beloved story has the elephant Horton picking a dandelion, but realizing that an entire civilization lives on the flower. Other members of his "society" believe Horton to be crazy, but he protects his new friends with every fibre of his being. The screenplay will be written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio (The Santa Clause 2).
