Director set for Villeneuve
Capri Films has signed Christian Duguay (The Art of War) to direct Villenueve. The movie will be a biopic about the Canadian Formula One racer Gilles Villeneuve. The movie will be based in part on the bestselling biography Villeneuve: The Life of a Legendary Driver, with a screenplay by Malcolm Clarke. Villeneuve died in a car crash during the 1982 Formula One qualifying season. The movie will start out 15 years after that, with Villeneuve's son Jacques preparing to race in Jerez, Portugal (and he does on to win the Formula One championship).
