Warner Bros. gets a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom

Warner Bros. has picked up the option to Julie Kenner's upcoming novel, Carpe Demon: Adventures of a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom. Kevin and Dan Hageman will adapt the screenplay about a stay-at-home mom who finds herself with the heavy-duty task of cleaning up her small town, which is overrun with demons. The novel will be released on July 5, 2005.
