Universal says London Is the Best City in America
Universal has optioned the screen rights to the Laura Dave novel London Is the Best City in America, to be developed as a starring vehicle for Reese Witherspoon. Gwyn Lurie will write the screenplay. The movie tells the story of a young woman who is stuck in neutral after having dumped her fiancé. She works in a fishing tackle shop as she works to create a documentary about the lives of fishermen, but is called home to attend her brother's wedding.
