Rubin finds Perfect Divorce
Columbia Pictures has hired screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost) to adapt the Avery Corman novel A Perfect Divorce. The movie centers on the divorce of a Manhattan couple and the collateral damage caused to their teenage son by their battles in the aftermath.

Columbia goes for A Perfect Divorce
Columbia Pictures has picked up the rights to Avery Corman's latest novel, The Perfect Divorce. Corman also wrote Kramer vs. Kramer, and the two books' themes are very simple, examining the effects of divorce on the couple's son.
