Meg Ryan will star in The Role of a Lifetime, a romantic comedy about a Hollywood actor and British director who develop a Hepburn/Tracy-esque chemistry when the director comes to Broadway with a Shakespearean production. Investors demand that he must cast a movie star in the lead role.
The property was initially set up at Sony a decade ago, but is in the process of moving to Disney.
