Fox gets a writer for Wolf Brother
Fox 2000 Pictures has hired John Fusco (Young Guns) to adapt Wolf Brother, the first book in a series of books by British author Michelle Paver. The series is called Chronicles of Darkness, and the first book was already a bestseller in the U.K. The book is set 6,000 years in the past and centers on a 12-year-old as he and a wolf companion attempt to save the world from evil forces.

Fox gets Chronicles of Ancient Darkness
Fox 2000 has picked up the rights to the six-part children's book series Chronicles of Ancient Darkness for Ridley Scott to produce. The first book of the series, Wolf Brother, is the only one to have been optioned at this point, but the other five will be negotiated in the future. The books are written by Michelle Paver. The story is set 6,000 years in the past, following 12-year-old Torak. He and his wolf friend work to save the world from evil forces. Book one in the series is scheduled to be released on February 15th.
