Love at First Bite gets a sequel
Tony Thomopolous and George Hamilton are creating a sequel to the 1979 MGM film Love at First Bite, to be named Love at Second Bite. David Steinberg will write the screenplay. The original film starred Hamilton as a Count Dracula who heads to New York City to find a bride. The update will take place 25 years after the events of the first film, with a focus on Dracula's son. Now set in his American ways, Dracula's progeny has rejected his family's heritage and plans to marry a human. Naturally, hijinks arise when he discovers that his vampire kin are coming to America for the wedding.
