Nolte is a Peaceful Warrior
Nick Nolte has signed on to star in Peaceful Warrior, an adaptation of Dan Millman's inspirational memoir Way of the Peaceful Warrior. Victor Salva, who previously directed the Jeepers Creepers films, is at the helm. The screenplay was written by Kevin Bernhardt, Anthony DiPietro and Bob Dolman.
Scott Mechlowicz (Mean Creek) has the lead role as a top student and gymnast who meets a mysterious older man (Nolte), who leads the boy on a spiritual quest. Amy Smart, Agnes Brucker, Ashton Holmes and Paul Wesley are also in the cast.

Jeepers Creepers director to create The Way of the Peaceful Warrior
Victor Salva, who directed the Jeepers Creepers films, will direct The Way of the Peaceful Warrior from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kevin Bernhardt and Bob Dolman. Scott Mechlowicz (Eurotrip) and Amy Smart will star. The book is based on an autobiography by Dan Millman, and centers on a college student who is in training to become an Olympic gymnast. A mysterious, elderly man becomes his mentor in the process.
