Paramount gets a Patriots Club
Paramount Pictures has optioned Christopher Reich's upcoming novel The Patriots Club for C/W Productions, headed up by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner. The story centers on an investment banker whose life is suddenly shattered after receiving a man of the year award. Accused of murder and on the lam, he discovers that he has been framed. A secret society, founded by Alexander Hamilton in 1787, has manipulated such events for centuries.
