Cuaron has Memory of Running
Alfonso Cuaron, who directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is attached to direct an adaptation of author Ron McLarty's The Memory of Running for Warner Bros. Published in 1988, the book centers on a 43-year-old, 279 pound assembly line supervisor who grieves over the death of his parents in a car accident by hopping on a bicycle in his funeral suit and pedaling across the country. McLarty will write the screenplay.
