Perelman agrees to Truce
Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog) has signed to direct Truce for Warner Independent Pictures. Based on a screenplay by Stuart Beattie (Collateral), the movie is set during the early months of WWI and based on the true story of British soldiers who came out from their foxholes in northern France in defiance of their commanders. They decided to trust their enemies to bring about a one-day Christmas truce at the deadliest place on Earth.
