Specimen Days has big screen deal
Producer Scott Rudin has picked up screen rights to Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cunningham's upcoming May novel Specimen Days. Cunningham wrote the books The Hours and A Home at the End of the World, both of which were turned into films. Specimen Days is a trilogy of stories about the past, present and future, all connected by 19th century poet Walt Whitman and his home in New York.
