Atkinson is Keeping Mum
Rowan Atkinson has signed on for his first leading role in nearly three years. He'll play a village pastor in the British comedy Keeping Mum. He'll be a man so obsessed with writing the perfect sermon that he has no idea that his wife is cheating or that his adolescent kids are hooligans. Kristin Scott-Thomas will play his wife, while Patrick Swayze will portray the golf instructor with whom she cheats. Maggie Smith will portray their housekeeper.
The movie will be directed and co-written by Niall Johnson.
