Paramount to do motocross film
Paramount Pictures will be the studio behind the coming-of-age story of James "Bubba" Stewart, a teenager who is the equivalent of Tiger Woods in the world of motocross racing. The film is being written by David Gordon Green (George Washington) and will provide celebrity photographer Sam Jones with his feature directing debut.
Stewart learned from his father to ride before he could walk and was winning titles by the time he was seven-years-old. At the age of 16, he was the first African American to win a major motor sports title. He's such a dominant force that he's been known to lay down his bike in order to let his competitors catch up.
