Dobkin challenges The Flash
David Dobkin (Fred Claus) will direct The Flash, a big-screen adaptation of the DC Comics superhero. Craig Wright, producer and writer of TV hits Brothers & Sisters, Lost and Six Feet Under, will pen the script.

Goyer takes on The Flash
David Goyer, who recently wrote and directed Blade: Trinity, has signed to write, produce and direct a film based on the DC Comics hero The Flash for Warner Bros. The Flash made his first appearance in DC Comics in late 1939 and was created by Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert. The character is the alter ego of Jason Peter "Jay" Garrick, a chemistry student and aspiring athlete whose exposure to heavy water fumes enables him to move at incredible speeds.
