Murro adapts Human Capital
Commercials director Noam Murro will helm an adaptation of the Stephen
Amidon novel Human Capital, which will be translated to screenplay form by the author. The contemporary social novel centers on two interconnected Connecticut families whose emotional bankruptcy and willingness to put financial cost on human lives leads to tragedy. Murro had initially been set to make his feature film directing debut on The Ring 2, but was replaced with Hideo Nakata, who directed the original Ringu films in Japan.
