MGM to make Ralph Lamb movie
MGM will create a film based on the life experiences of Ralph Lamb, a cowboy who became sheriff of Las Vegas and cleaned up the town when casinos became big business. Nick Pileggi (Casino) is writing the screenplay for the film, and already has some knowledge about Lamb's background. When he was interviewing gangsters as research for casino, Lamb was the man who they most feared.
