The Left Hand of Darkness picked up
Phobos Entertainment has acquired the rights to turn Ursula K. Le Guin's sci-fi novel The Left Hand of Darkness into both a feature film and a video game. The book was first published in 1969 and is set on a lost planet known as Winter. The inhabitants of the planet defy standard gender roles, sometimes even changing roles. The story centers on a human emissary who must work to bring Winter back into the galactic fold.
