Silent film to be re-imagined
Safety Last, a movie that will be loosely based on the 1923 Harold Lloyd silent picture, is set to be produced by Mark Gordon. Playwright Keith Bunin will handle scripting duties. The original film starred Harold Lloyd as a store clerk who organizes a contest to climb of a tall building. As it turns out, he is instead forced to make the climb himself. Lloyd's granddaughter, Suzanne Lloyd, will be an executive producer on the film.
