Christensen will portray Lorenzo, while The O.C.'s Mischa Barton will play Pampinea. The film will be both adapted and directed by David Leland (Band of Brothers). The movie centers on ten noble young men and women who are seeking to escape the horror of the plague. In order to do so, they retreat to a villa outside the city of Florence and tell each other stories.
