Quaid feels Shame
Dennis Quaid will write, direct and star in a biopic of the controversial 1940s Western swing star Spade Cooley. Titled Shame on You, the film may also feature Katie Holmes, who is in talks to play Cooley's wife. Cooley killed his wife in front of their teenage daughter in 1961, and as a result spent the '60s in prison. When released in 1969 to perform a benefit concert, he had a heart attack backstage and passed away.
