Weinsteins Have Like Minds
The Weinstein Company has obtained the U.S. rights to the Australian/British murder thriller Like Minds. Toni Collette and Richard Roxburgh star in the film, about a couple of cops hunting a serial killer. Gregory J. Read directed and wrote the story. The rights for Like Minds have already been sold in another 11 territories and it will have its world premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival on August 10th. A stateside release date is not set yet.

Roxburgh, Collette of Like Mind
Richard Roxburgh has joined the cast of Like Minds, a psychological thriller being shot in Australia. He'll join Toni Collette, Tom Sturridge and Eddie Redmayne in the story of a forensic psychologist who must determine if there is enough evidence to find that a 17-year-old psychopath killed a fellow pupil. Roxburgh will play a police detective. The movie will mark the writing and directing debut of Gregory Read, who has previously worked on documentaries and commercials.
