Tween book adapted for big screen
Scared Stiff, a tween bestseller for Scholastic Books, will be adapted for the big screen. William Moreing will direct, while Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hillgartner will write the screenplay. The story centers around a teenage brother and sister who live above their parents' mortuary. They find that they must stop a mass murderer who has come back to life, looking for revenge. The book has sold more than 1 million copies.
