Miramax no longer wants Keith
Miramax has returned the already-developed teen romantic drama to its writer/director, Blues Clues creator Todd Kessler and his No Hands Production company. Although Miramax will retain the option to co-finance the film, it appears likely that the deal was made with the expectation that the Weinstein brothers will soon be departing the studio.
Kessler co-wrote the screenplay with David Zabel, and the film will mark Kessler's feature film directorial debut. The story centers around a 17-year-old who thinks she has everything figured out until she suddenly falls for a guy who has nothing to lose.
