Robinson Pledges Sorority
Director Angela Robinson (Herbie: Fully Loaded) has been hired to helm the adaptation of Pledged, from Alexandra Robbins' shocking non-fiction account of sorority life. Screenwriter Jill Soloway adapted the story for the movie.

Paramount gets Pledged
Paramount has signed Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under) to adapt the non-fiction book Pledged: The Secret Life of Sororities. The book was written by Alexandra Robbins. The author became curious if the legends about sororities were true, so she went undercover. What she discovered was shocking: drugs, psychological abuse, extreme promiscuity, racism, violence, and rampant eating disorders were just a sampling of the problems she encountered.
